This is DEOGIE's new year update on air!!

Hey yo!!! Howdy folks and friends •⩊•/ !!

Going to update you all with my plans and resolutions for this year and how I am doing lately.

So, I've been quiet for the last two months, considering that my last post was at the beggining of December last year, and for the few that follow me here may be wondering what's going on with me. Don't worry y'all, I'm fine, to begin with I took the last two months to spend time with family and friends during christmas and new year's eve.

As for my drawings and artworks, well, some of you maybe already had noticed that my artstyle kinda "changed" a bit. That's because I started to go back to my roots on drawing, making thicker lines, using more saturated colors, less post rendering shenanigans, using less customized brushes and not caring so much about details and realism.

"So that means that you are stopping with the retro-anime artstyle?" Yes and no. You see, retro-anime is strongly grounded on thiner lines, more opaque colors and etc, that are aspects that goes against my original "art DNA", but I still love the aesthetic of retro-anime, the nostalgic feeling and the characters that I've grown watching on TV, and without them maybe I would never get my interest for drawing back then. So I'll keep with fanarts and other gimmicks that I learned with this artstyle.

My plans for this year

Besides continuing drawing cool stuff, I'm planing to start making videos for youtube again, but this time commenting my 2cents about different subjects related to drawing and art. And try to give some advices about stuff that I learned over the years.

My side projects like Anazahai and RPG characters will be on my digital fridge for now, but that doesn't mean that I'll stop with original characters and stuff. Just giving a break for the next months. And speaking of that, on April I will be traveling to Japan with my brother, and after this trip I'll start planning a Patreon page that I have been thinking for a while, so wish me luck >⩊< !!
